It is with great pride we bring to your notice that Mr. Mayuka Ranasinghe, the president of RCOSA, was awarded the Outstanding Young Person of the Year (TOYP) 2014, by the Junior Chamber International.

The Ten Outstanding Young Persons of Sri Lanka (TOYP) Program serves to formally recognize young people who excel in their chosen fields and exemplify the best attributes of the world’s young people. Mr. Mayuka Ranasinghe, currently Manager Group Legal Affairs at SriLankan Airlines, was awarded with the TOYP award under the legal category, at the 34th JCI TOYP Award Ceremony 2014 held on 11 November 2014 at Water’s Edge.

Mr. Santhush Weeraman in 2002 and Mr. Dushyanth Weeraman in 2013 are the previous Old Scouts from Gold Troop to win a TOYP award.

We congratulate them on their achievement.
