The Annual Training Camp of the Gold Troop which was held with the purpose of uplifting troop standards, became a grand success with the tremendous effort of the whole troop. The camp was held from 6th to 8thof November 2009 at the College premises with participation of more than 50 Junior Scouts, Instructors, Assistant Scout Leaders, Old Scouts and Teachers in Charge of the Gold Troop. The organizers of the camp focused on a different programme comparing with the previous Training Camps as there were 3 major groups with 3 programmes and combined programmes as well. Tenderfoot Training, Patrol Leaders Training and Instructors Training were continued with the necessary knowledge and from the basics to advance activities. We specially mentioned about Troop Standards and Badge Works throughout the camp as there were tenderfoots and for their betterment. The new standards with Badge passing inside the Gold Troop and the Hand Book with every theory knowledge up to Presidents Award also released in the camp. First Aid, Camp Fire, Fire Lighting, Leadership, Mapping, Hiking and so many other programmes encouraged the scouts to lead their career to the top. Many of our Primary targets were achieved as we wish with a good hope about the future of the Golden Gang. Organizers are really thankful to everyone who supported to make this a grand success.
