After a lapse of almost two decades a Scout Leader from the Gold Troop has successfully completed the Wood Badge.

Mr. Pasan Jayakody, current Senior Assistant Scout Leader of Gold Troop and the Vice President of RCOSA, has completed all the requirements of the Wood Badge and was presented with the Wood Badge insignia at the 20th National Rover Moot 2014, Thailand.

Mr. Pasan Jayakody, joined scouting in Gold Troop in 1999 and has since been a part of Scout Movement and Gold Troop. He had been a Patrol Leader, Instructor and finally has worked as Assistant Scout Leader of Gold Troop from 2006.

Royal College Old Scouts Association congratulate him on this achievement and hope this would be an inspiration for the fellow old scouts and present scouts who wish to become volunteer leaders and give back to the Scouts Movement.
